EGLA was founded with the goal of providing clients with unrivaled design service at an affordable price. We are a full service Landscape Architecture firm, with a passion for bringing people closer to the natural resources that surround them. With each project, we strive to design landscapes that carefully integrate the natural and built environments. Bringing creativity, innovation, and practicality to the design process, we are dedicated to creating landscapes that are beautiful and functional, with inherently low environmental impacts and maintenance costs.

Founder and Principal, Erica Gatti, is an award winning landscape architect with years of experience in designing land development projects of all types and scales. Her design expertise extends far beyond plant selection to include vehicular and pedestrian circulation systems, plazas, courtyards, streetscapes, site furnishing selection, input on overall siting of buildings and hardscape elements, and collaboration on grading and stormwater management strategies and features. Ms. Gatti has consulted on a wide range of projects, from small scale residential to large scale commercial and institutional sites. Her close collaboration with design professionals of other disciplines, including architects, land planners, and engineers, has contributed to her strong technical background and her well-rounded approach to design.

With SWaM and Landscape Architecture Certification in the state of Virginia, EGLA can assist in leading clients’ projects through all necessary stages of agency review and approval.
